Lift-O-MAT gas spring with dynamic damping for even greater comfort. The LIFT-O-MAT DD with dynamic damping is a gas spring whose damping characteristics and extension speed control are essentially defined by a longitudinal groove in the pressure tube. By appropriately expanding or reducing the groove cross-section, the piston rod's movement speed can be freely adjusted over the entire stroke and thus ideally adapted to the respective application. The movement process can thus be reduced smoothly and continuously to near standstill. Different extension and retraction characteristics are possible, as is a damped approach to intermediate positions. The LIFT-O-MAT DD operates regardless of position and ensures comfortable, hinge- and joint-friendly approach to the desired position.
